My first book

My first book, Suits plus Creatives: A Guide for Collaborating and Communicating Across the Advertising Agency Divide, was published late last year. I wrote "Suits plus Creatives" for educators, students, and advertising professionals. I intended the descriptions of processes and problems, solutions presented, and exercises for building understanding and skills to result in improved collaboration across agency disciplines, with the result of more well-prepared students, more effective marketing and advertising, and more satisfied clients and employees. And the stories I tell to illustrate the problems are all drawn from my own professional experience. The names are (mostly) changed, but many of my former colleagues will likely recognize these people and situations. Actually, anyone who has worked in advertising, marketing, or any of the associated professions, will recognize these familiar situations and problems.
